Evonik is among the winners of the German Packaging Award 2026: The company received the award in the “Sustainability” category for Tego Res 1100. This innovative co-binder for solvent-based printing inks improves deinking, the removal of printing inks during the recycling of printed flexible packaging.
For the award submission, a packaging sample provided by Constantia Flexibles was used, featuring printing inks formulated with Tego Res 1100. The technology facilitates the removal of ink components during the recycling process, helping to improve the quality of recycled materials.
The German Packaging Award, presented by the German Packaging Institute (dvi), is considered one of the packaging industry's most prestigious innovation competitions. The jury recognized Tego Res 1100 for its contribution to improving the recyclability of packaging and advancing circular packaging solutions.
